Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 - My Thoughts
So today I completed Modern Warfare 3. If you don’t know, I’ve actually been doing a Let’s Play series on it, which you can check out here (do be sure to comment, like and subscribe!)
So, having completed it, I have to say, I felt very… erm… ‘meh’, at the end of it. The final scene was especially ‘meh’-ish considering how cinematic, dramatic and generally awesome the ending scenes of previous Call of Duty games were (*cough* MW2 ending *cough*).Â
So, the plot. Well, it was good… I guess. I liked the continuity from the previous games, and the fact that it contained many flashbacks and even some flash forwards towards the end of the game was a nice touch. Without giving too much away, let’s just say characters you’ve come to know and love fall. Besides the continuity, I found it to be a very meh storyline, featuring many traits found in war movies and other games in the genre. The sheer scale of what was meant to be WW3 just isn’t conveyed well enough besides through the mediocre COD ‘Mission Briefing’ cutscenes scattered throughout the game.Â
The game it self is typical COD. The gameplay, graphics, objectives, everything. If you liked the campaigns of previous COD titles, then you’ll like this one. Now I love COD campaigns as much as the next guy but again, all of the afore mentioned things were taken from previous games and really lacked anything new, leaving me feeling, once again meh-ish.Â
Overall, if you like COD, you’ve probably already got this game. Even if you don’t, buy the game, finish the campaign in the 5-6 hours it will take you, then hop on to the multiplayer, because that is where the true awesomeness of COD, really is.Â

Saints Row The Third - My Thoughts
Told you I’d be back on here!
Anyway, I just completed Saints Row The Third for the PS3. Having received it for Christmas, I was extremely excited, as I had heard great things about this game, and I had watched countless hours of gameplay of it on YouTube. Suffice to say, this game truly did live up to the hype, and I loved every minute of it…Â
So, here’s the setup: you play as a notorious street gang named (fully) as the Third Street Saints, and you reside in a city called Steelport. A rival gang (who are much bigger in size than you and who are international), called the Syndicate, want a slice of the action in little ol’ Steelport, and so your mission begins… take back Steelport.
The game has an open world style, and allows you to do a lot of GTA-esque things. Like, for example, steal cars, kill random people off the street, buy properties (which add to your overall control of the city) and all that good stuff. The main story however, comes through missions, accessible through your handy smartphone.
Missions. Are. Amazing.
Seriously, they are SO freaking fun! One minute you’ll be fighting off whores with a… erm… let’s just say ‘device a women would use to pleasure herself on a summer’s evening’, and the next minute you’ll be dangling out of a helicopter shooting cars with a big ol’ bazooka. For some quick gameplay, watch the video here.
Furthermore, the characters are awesome! You have your foxy ‘home-girl’ Shaundi (pictured above), your best buddy Pierce, and a bunch of other characters who you meet through the game. They are voiced perfectly, and stay some truly hilarious stuff.Â
…and then come the extras. ‘Whored Mode’ (yes, that’s how it spelt), which is a kin to that of Nazi Zombies from Call of Duty except the Zombies are replaced with prostitues, and a sprawling co-op mode (which I have yet to try).Â
This wasn’t meant to be a review, but it kind of is one now. Anyway, let’s just say I loved this game and cannot wait for SR4!Â
Stay tuned for more stuff on here, and check out my newly launched gaming channel.Â
Till next time,Â

2012: The Year Ahead
Dear all,Â
I know I haven’t been using this blog as much as I could have recently, but I thought I’d write this post to start off the year, 2012.Â
Firstly, I hope all of my fans, viewers, and readers of this post had a wonderful Christmas and New Years Celebration, as I know I did.Â
Secondly, with a new year comes new goals. In terms of YouTube, I unfortunately ended 2011 facing some problems on my main channel regarding my gaming videos. All kinds of problems arose with those videos that I’d like not to mention, and whilst they have been harmless to the face of my channel, I fear eventually, if I were to continue posting gaming videos to that channel, it would be detrimental to my ‘brand’ in general. Therefore, as I explain in my latest video, all my gaming videos from now on are going to be posted to my gaming channel, over here. My first goal of 2012 is to regularly post content to both that channel and my main channel, and hopefully, by the end of the year, be able to achieve some sort of partnership on that channel, although due to school commitments, that may not be fully possible. Tech videos on my main channel are still coming, so stay tuned!Â
As some of you may have heard on Twitter, I recently purchased a guitar (the Yamaha F310 Acoustic Guitar FYI). Another goal of mine for 2012 is to master said instrument, and by the end of the year, be able to play it to a decent level. I will keep you guys updated with my progress through Twitter. :)Â
My third primary goal is something personal that I don’t want to disclose but let’s just say if it were to even come partially true I’d be a very happy guy.Â
Other than that my goals are the usual: do well in school, meet up with friends regularly etc.Â
On a side note pertaining to Let’s Play videos, so far the response to the videos posted on my main channel has been… well, mediocre to say the least. I’m hoping this will improve as the year progresses as I really do enjoy making Let’s Play videos, and I would love to continue posting them. N.B. I will probably not be continuing my Saints Row The Third series as I have constantly been getting ContentID matches on it. This problem doesn’t seem to be happening with my COD videos, so there are more of those on the way. I’ve really been enjoying the fast paced, quirky styling of SR3 and cannot wait to complete the game.Â
Other than that, I don’t have much else to say besides: what are your goals for 2012? Comment below!
Until next time,Â

Lightweight cases are slowly becoming extremely popular within the iPhone community, and with more and more hitting the market, how does Elago’s Breathe case stack up against it’s competitors.Â
Firstly, the case is designed to be an ultra-lightweight, fairly protective case for the iPhone 4. This is apparent by the fact that it’s covered in holes, which both looks good, but also brings the weight down significantly. The chrome finished Elago logo plate on the back also gives it a very up-market, executive feel.
Application is amazingly simple, as you’d expect. Once applied, you have full access to all the ports etc. on the iPhone. The case it self looks downright sexy, in my opinion. The case features a slight lay on the table design, which is always.Â
Other than that, there’s nothing else to say about the Breathe. Priced at a mere $5.99 USD on Elago’s store, it’s impossible to go wrong with the Elago Breathe if you’re looking for a lightweight protection solution for the iPhone, and I’d highly recommend it.Â
Check out the product on Elago’s store here.

New Years + Random Thoughts for 2010!
2010 has been a great year, at least for me. In terms of YouTube, I have gained a great load of amazing subscribers who I am very grateful to have. Furthermore, continual support through Twitter has also been awesome, as I’ve now hit over 600 followers. Christmas this year was also great… I got great presents, but most importantly I got to spend time with family and friends.Â
Also, a first for my YouTube channel, is that I’ve posted my first giveaway. If you want more info on how to get it on it, watch the video below :)Â
I hope to write my new year’s resolutions soon too, some of mine are a bit too personal to post on here, but some of them, like the YouTube ones, include reaching 800 followers on Twitter, reaching 5000 subscribers on YouTube (which I doubt I’m going to get.) Are you guys writing some? If so, what are they? Post a comment below!
Also, I will definitely be posting a whole lot more content on this Tumblr blog, so keep your eyes peeled. I will also be posting content to TekSocial If there’s enough traffic, I may even start a server hosted blog running on WordPress with some sort of section for my Freelance Graphics Design work. If you guys need a banner or icon or YT layout etc. be sure to contact me on c0mph3lperk1d@gmail.com for a quote!
I hope you guys have had as great of a year as I did, and I would like to wish all reading this a very happy New Year. Also, stay tuned for a whole new year of content from me, through-out 2011.Â
